Each day focuses on a new set of practical skills, from performing life-saving procedures and diagnosing patients to understanding ethics, prescribing safely, and communicating with confidence.

Your Journey in Healthcare
Guided by Dubai Medical University faculty and final year medical students, participants learn through simulations, hospital-based activities, and reflective workshops that bring medical training to life.
- Day 1Life in Emergency Medicine
Begin your journey at Dubai Medical University’s state-of-the-art Simulation Center. Meet mentors, tour medical facilities, and get a first-hand look at how medicine is practiced. Learn airway management and CPR using real training models.
- Day 2How to Ace a Diagnosis
Step into the role of a clinical detective through a live Problem-Based Learning (PBL) session. Investigate real-world symptoms, identify likely conditions, and decide on next steps with your peers. The afternoon has an exciting Skills Circuit, try IV insertion, measure vital signs, and listen to heart and lung sounds using cutting-edge simulators.
- Day 3OBGYN & Medical Ethics Rotations
Students take part in a two-hour hospital shadowing experience, observing real-time care, teamwork, and communication. They also join our Ethics & Future of Medicine Workshop, exploring how innovation and compassion shape healthcare. The day concludes with a simulation and a mentorship session led by senior medical students.
- Day 4Mastering Prescribing Skills
Rotate and explore real healthcare environments, decision-making, and take part in a Hospital Pharmacy Simulation. Learning how accurate prescriptions and strong doctor–pharmacist teamwork prevent errors and improve patient safety.
- Day 5Clinical Communication & Application Strengthening
Wrap up the week with a Q&A panel featuring DMU medical students and Fraser’s mentors. In the final simulation, practice real clinical consultations—taking patient histories, showing empathy, and explaining diagnoses. Finish with reflection and personal-statement coaching to help you articulate your journey to universities.
